All core training programs are fully funded for Somali nationals. This includes tuition, materials, and for residential programs, accommodation and meals. Participants or their organizations are responsible for transportation to the Academy.
Yes, all programs are offered in both Somali and English. Program materials are provided in both languages, and translation services are available for international faculty sessions.
Selection is competitive and based on multiple factors including professional experience, academic background, leadership potential, and regional representation. We aim for diverse cohorts from all federal member states.
This varies by program. In-person programs typically require full-time attendance for the duration. Blended and online programs offer more flexibility but still require dedicated time for lectures, assignments, and group work.
Yes, the Academy provides on-campus accommodation for all residential programs. Participants from outside Kismayo are prioritized. Residential learning supports networking and collaboration.
Upon successful completion, participants receive an official certificate from the National Leadership Academy. Certain programs may also offer co-certification with international partner institutions.
