The National Leadership Academy (NLA) and the National Civil Service Commission (NCSC) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a significant milestone in strengthening collaboration to advance leadership development and public sector capacity in Somalia. The agreement reflects the shared vision of both institutions to promote excellence in public service by investing in capable leadership, institutional performance, and the professional development of civil servants across the country..
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Ms. Hodhan Noor Abdi, Executive Director of the National Leadership Academy, and Mr. Hassan Abshirow Mohamed, Chairman of the National Civil Service Commission. The signing ceremony brought together representatives from both institutions, reaffirming their mutual commitment to fostering a modern, competent, and future-ready public service that is equipped to meet Somalia’s evolving governance and development priorities
Through this strategic partnership, the NLA and the NCSC will collaborate on a range of initiatives aimed at strengthening leadership and institutional capacity within the public sector.
